Harvey Monroe Hall papers 1859-1991, bulk 1896-1932

Consists of the papers of Harvey Monroe Hall, his wife Carlotta Case Hall and their daughter Martha Hall Niccolls. The papers of Harvey Monroe Hall contain correspondence, notes, reprints and newspapers clippings relating to his family life and his career in botany including specimen collecting, research and teaching. The papers of Carlotta Case Hall contain correspondence, writings and diaries, papers relating to her families genealogy, and papers relating to her husbands illness and death. The papers of Martha Hall Niccolls contain correspondence, writings, diaries and scrapbooks. A list of correspondents can be found in the indexing terms.
